BACKGROUND
Early Life and Career:
Dr. Henry Hudson was a brilliant scientist and weapons designer, renowned for his work with the United States government’s deep research program under the Office of Strategic Defense Initiatives (OSDI). With a mind honed for innovation and a drive to protect his country, Dr. Hudson was considered one of the leading experts in advanced weaponry and defense systems.

The Transformation:
Driven by an insatiable desire to push the boundaries of human capability, Dr. Hudson volunteered for an experimental project aimed at enhancing mental faculties using Q-implants. These implants, derived from Quasar technology, were designed to exponentially increase cognitive functions, including intelligence, memory, and problem-solving skills. However, the procedure had unforeseen consequences.

Awakening Empathy:
The Q-implants did more than enhance Dr. Hudson's intellect; they awakened a dormant, psychically evolved part of his mind that brought about a profound understanding for empathy and understanding. The problem was, he refused to design weapons and defensive systems for what he believed were corrupt institutions.

Team Daedalus Corruption:
Dr. Hudson attempted to reach Dr. Anson a number of times, warning him of the issues he was seeing with Team Daedalus. Dr. Anson assured him multiple times that he was working to turn things around -- and Dr. Hudson placed his trust in Dr. Anson. Little he realize Dr. Anson had been taken over by Killblood and that he had arranged to have Dr. Hudson murdered. Only through the intervention of a random soldier did Dr. Hudson survive -- but the soldier was mortally injured. Dr. Hudson attempted to aid him with an insect-human hybrid Q-implant that he had been working on -- it was the only way to save his life. And thus, the Moth was born.

The Rise of Dr. Symons:
When the Deadly Daedalus Five came to power, Dr. Hudson was already in hiding from the assassination attempt. He created an alternative personality, calling him Dr. Symons, and began a whisper campaign to try to draw attention to the issues. Things only became more complicated when the U.S. government called upon him to help Dr. Xavier Brooks help design a force to stop the Daedalus Five. Dr. Hudson helped, as an advisor, but he also kept track of what was happening. He saw things going in a very wrong way, both within and without the government.

Whisper Alliance Influence:
It was due to the influence of the Whisper Alliance that Dr. Anson the Daedalus Five were brought to justice and put on trial by the US government. During the trail, Dr. Symons discoverd that the real Dr. Anson was dead, and arranged for his remains to be delivered to the court. Violence broke out and the world saw Dr. Anson assassinated by members of the Whisper Alliance -- at least, that was the public story. Behind the scenes, Killblood was assassinated by a Black Ops Q-Team in order to allow the birth of ANTHEM.

Dr. Brooks Demise:
Dr. Symons attempted to reach Dr. Brooks and make him understand the errors of his ways. However, by the time Dr. Brooks became aware of the harm he was doing through his work for ANTHEM, it was too late. When they discovered he was having second thoughts, they killed him and made it look like the work of the Whisper Alliance. Since then, ANTHEM has hunted the Whisper Alliance incessantly.

Philosophy and Goals:
Dr. Symon's ultimate goal is the restoration of the world to a state where people may seek enlightenment and work together; where freedom is a standard and not the exception. He knows there are dangerous steps that must be taken considering the state of the world, but he measures them carefully and cautiously, only taking harmful actions when there is no recourse.

Dr. Symantro is a dangerous man who has repeatedly attempted to create and distribute weapons of mass destruction. He also designs specialist weapons. His background is shrouded in mystery, but there are rumors that he was already a dangerous weapons design genius when the US government provided him powers with a Q-implant. It is known he has studied nearly every discipline and strategy involved in killing enemy humans. Currently, Dr. Symantro has made his presence known with a series of robberies of high tech Q-tech power sources and it is know that he has brought some other independent villains into his fold, referring to them as the Whisper Alliance.
